sThese Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Boston Wedding Shuttle. By booking with us, you agree to adhere to these policies.
General Reservation Terms and Conditions
1. Passenger and Luggage Limits
Each vehicle has a maximum passenger capacity and luggage limit as per manufacturer specifications and state regulations. To ensure a safe and comfortable journey, these limits must be strictly followed.
2. Rental Period
A minimum rental period of three (3) hours applies. For rentals shorter than three hours, the three-hour rate will be charged.
3. Toll Taxes
- For Logan Airport pick-up or drop-off services, a two-way toll applies as per Airport Authority rules.
- Tolls for non-airport routes are included in the fare.
- For long-distance services, tolls and parking fees may vary and must be paid either in cash to the driver or by credit card after the service.
4. Weather and Security Cancellations
In severe weather conditions (e.g., snowstorms) or in the event of a serious national emergency, Boston Wedding Shuttle reserves the right to cancel services. If this occurs, a full refund will be provided.
5. Holiday Surcharge
An additional $50 surcharge applies on public holidays.
6. Gratuity
A 10% gratuity will be automatically added to all services.
7. Night Charges
Services scheduled between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM will incur an additional $50 night charge.
Cancellation and Refund Terms and Conditions
1. Cancellation Rules
- All cancellations must be made via email with full booking details.
- Phone cancellations are not accepted.
- A minimum notice of one (4) week is required for cancellations.
2. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is based on when the cancellation is made:
- Full Refund: If you cancel at least 4 weeks before your ride, you will be eligible for a full refund of your deposit amount.
- No Refund: Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before your ride will not be eligible for any refund.
Wait Time Terms and Conditions
1. Airport Pick-Ups
- Domestic Arrivals: A 30-minute grace period is provided.
- International Arrivals: A 60-minute grace period is provided.
2. Non-Airport Pick-Ups
A 15-minute grace period is allowed before wait time charges begin.
3. Wait Time Charges
After the grace period, wait time charges apply at a rate of $150 per hour for vans and buses.
Responsible Usage Policy
1. Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their party during the rental period. The following fees apply:
- Sanitation Fee: $250 for smoking, vomiting, or excessive trashing of the vehicle.
- Damage to Equipment: A minimum of $400 for damage to onboard equipment such as TVs, radios, or DVD players.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Smoking, standing through the sunroof, and drug use are strictly prohibited.
- Drug use will result in immediate termination of the ride without a refund. Any legal fines or fees will be the client’s responsibility.
- Drivers reserve the right to terminate service immediately if clients engage in inappropriate behavior, without any refund.
Liability Disclaimer
- Boston Wedding Shuttle is not liable for mechanical breakdowns. In the event of a breakdown, a replacement vehicle or makeup service will be provided.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by unsafe road conditions, winter weather, or personal items left behind in the vehicle.
Payment Terms
- Full payment must be made prior to the start of service.
- Credit card payments will be processed 24 hours before the service date.
- Cash payments must be provided to the driver at the beginning of the service.
Overcapacity and Additional Charges
- Overloading vehicles beyond their seating capacity is illegal and strictly prohibited.
- Fuel surcharges and overtime charges may apply for travel exceeding 25 miles from the origin city.
Infant and Child Seats
- Infant and child seats are available only in vans.
